"Make it simple but make it with style" is the motto of Cabin in the Woods Quilters and they certainly pulled it off with this quilt. A simple background consisting of 9" patches creates the background for simple appliqued petals. The aapplique fabrics are from the Eclectic Elements collection from Free Spirit and we chose a group of background pieces with the same theme and color scheme. The pattern includes templates for the petals, but make this even easier by using the Nested Petal Template (sku# 116809) that doubles as a quilting template. The quilt finishes at 68" square and could be rated beginner.
